figure 2. This shot of the AND 1 Desire Mid best shows its two-toned design theme, which is reminiscent of the still popular AND 1 Tai Chi Mid. But the similarities end there, as the Desire Mid is an entirely different shoe that provides significantly better performance.
figure 5a & b: The limited edition white/navy/orange colorway of the AND 1 Desire Mid. I think that this may be my personal favorite colorway of the shoe. The orange with navy mesh overlays at the tongue and achilles pad are, for lack of a better word, hot!
figure 6a & b: The limited edition white/red/chrome colorway of the AND 1 Desire Mid. Normally you'd think of chrome as having a shiny, metallic look, but in the case of the L.E. Desire Mid it's the designation for the greyish-blue color used for the inner of the shoe -- very subtle and very nice.
Here's a look at the AND 1 Desire Mid in both its white/red/silver and white/navy/silver colorways. In my opinion the Desire Mid is a great looking shoe that looks and feels like it would cost a lot more than its listed price of $90.
